GTA 6 Trailers: Every Official Reveal So Far

Coming Next: “An Extended Look” August 27, 2026

Rockstar has officially confirmed the next big reveal. Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look premieres on Netflix on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET, then launches on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the GTA VI website later that same day at 9:00 PM ET.
In a first-of-its-kind partnership, Netflix subscribers get to watch the extended first look a full six hours before anyone else. Netflix has partnered with Rockstar before bringing GTA: The Trilogy. The Definitive Edition and Red Dead Redemption to its mobile gaming service but this marks the first time a major GTA reveal will debut on the streaming platform first.
Expect a deeper dive into the story, more of Jason and Lucia’s journey, and fresh looks at the world of Leonida. Mark your calendar this is the reveal fans have been waiting for since 2025.

Upcoming Trailer

Trailer 2 (Latest Trailer) May 6, 2025

The most recent official trailer is also the biggest. Released on May 6, 2025 and captured entirely on PlayStation 5, Trailer 2 runs 2 minutes and 47 seconds the longer of the two reveals. Rockstar confirmed the footage is a roughly equal mix of gameplay and cutscenes, giving fans their clearest look yet at how the game actually plays.

The trailer digs deep into the relationship between protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, framing them as a modern Bonnie-and-Clyde duo. It also showcases far more of the state of Leonida from the neon nightlife of Vice City to sun-soaked beaches, swamps, and small rural towns.

Most impressively, Trailer 2 smashed a world record. Rockstar reported over 475 million views across all platforms in its first 24 hours, which the studio called “the biggest video launch of all time.” That figure blew past the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer (365 million) and the Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer (200 million), proving GTA 6 is the most anticipated entertainment release of the decade.

Trailers 1 (The Debut)  December 4, 2023

The one that started it all. GTA 6’s first official trailer arrived on December 4, 2023 actually leaking about 16 hours ahead of its scheduled premiere, forcing Rockstar to release it early. Even so, it instantly broke YouTube records for a non-music video launch.

Trailer 1 was cinematic and story-focused rather than gameplay-heavy, but it confirmed the essentials fans had spent years speculating about: the return to a modern-day Vice City, the series’ first-ever female lead in Lucia, and a jaw-dropping level of world density and detail. With its sharp satirical take on social-media culture and a vibrant, living world, the debut set the stage for Rockstar’s most ambitious title yet.
