Where to Pre-Order GTA VI
Pre-order only through retailers you trust, since scam listings tend to surface ahead of major launches.
- Official PlayStation Store
- Official Xbox Store
- Major retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop
- Your local retailer, once regional listings go live
Avoid third party sellers offering suspiciously low prices or early access before an official announcement.

Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1
Trailer 1 was set for a formal YouTube Premiere on December 5, 2023, at 9 AM ET, but leaked online early, so Rockstar Games released it a day ahead on December 4, 2023, around 6 PM ET. Running 91 seconds and set to Tom Petty’s “Love Is a Long Road,” it confirmed the series’ return to Vice City, introducing Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos through glimpses of Ocean Drive, the Malibu Club, and the wider state of Leonida. It broke records instantly, hitting over 93 million YouTube views in 24 hours, a Guinness World Record it still holds, and has since surpassed 228 million total views.
Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2
Trailer 2 was officially released by Rockstar Games on May 6, 2025, giving fans a much deeper look at Grand Theft Auto VI and its story. Running for around 2 minutes and 47 seconds, the trailer was captured entirely in-game on PlayStation 5 and featured a mix of gameplay and cutscenes, set to The Pointer Sisters’ “Hot Together.” It expanded the story of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, showing their criminal partnership, life in Vice City, and the wider State of Leonida, while introducing additional characters and locations. Rockstar described it as a closer look at the “biggest, most immersive evolution” of the series. Trailer 2 also became a massive global event, reaching more than 475 million views across platforms in its first 24 hours, according to Take-Two Interactive.
Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 3
Trailer 3 has not been officially announced as a numbered trailer by Rockstar Games. However, an extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for August 27, 2026, and it could deliver the first substantial gameplay footage since Trailer 2. For now, Rockstar has not officially confirmed that this upcoming reveal will be called Trailer 3.
